Health & Safety/Induction

All courses will commence with an induction of both centre requirements and Health & Safety Issues.

Trade skills will commence with a taster course where learners will be familiarised with the tools of the trade, there is also an opportunity to ‘transfer’ into another trade should they so wish (subject to availability).

Once the basic skills are covered, the learners will be registered onto the respective training course, this is subject to learners meeting the required criteria and authorisation from their educational establishment.

Job Prospects

We will endeavour to help guide any learner suitable for employment into placements via the ‘Modern Apprentice route’ or the ‘Improver’ route with possible work experience weeks where available along with setting up interviews with prospective contractors interested in Modern Apprentices.

Added Value

Throughout the duration of the course there will be opportunities to set “Construction Records” these will be in house tests set to relevant Industrial Standards, where all record holders receive a certificate and name on the ‘hall of fame!’
